Waterfall Photography
I have always had an interest in waterfalls, but it was not until I took photography as an AS level option that I saw how spectacular they really are. I have searched Google to find some photographs of some and here they are.

I particularly like the photographs 2 and 4. The 2nd photograph is the spitting image of a perfect waterfall. Photograph number 4, speaks for itself. It has a great perspective line. It is only once you notice how small the people are on the ground, that you realize how huge this actually is. What makes it more prominent is that the landscape is flat not including the cliff.
These are some of the photos that I have taken just out of interest of the subject.

These photographs represent changing landscapes especially the 3rd one. This is because waterfalls are eroding the rocks in the cliffs making them recede , creating a gorge. The 3rd one also features a man made bridge across the river, scarring the landscape. I enjoyed taking these photographs. I will continue to do so.

Warming Up A Photograph

I am going to warm up this winter image by selecting the colourize option on the hue and saturation menu. It looks like this.

I set the hue to 28 so that it had a warm colour like orange in it. I then continued to change the saturation to 25 so that more of that colour was showing. I kept the lightness the same though because I thought that it didn't need to be changed, it was fine already.
Here is the finished photo warmed up.

I think that I have done a good job at this because I have successfully converted the image from being a snowy woods to what looks like the same woods either at dawn or dusk. I have tied it in with changing landscapes since I have changed the landscape from, lets say 2:00pm to 6:00am.
